Fuck Fascists

Trump just deployed the national guard to my state, without authorization of the governor. This is obviously wildly illegal. Furthermore they’re deploying actual marines to help.

I can’t state strongly enough, that this is very obviously just martial law without the formal declaration. This is chicken-shit behavior from a man whose poor wounded little ego can’t stand for anyone disagreeing with him.

Donald Trump is what happens when narcissists get their way. He’s a walking case-study for why these kinds of anti-social losers deserve to be bullied, so that they’re never allowed anywhere near the halls of power. The media has absolutely failed us, they should have pointed at Trump in 2016 and laughed heartily and then refused to cover him because he’s not a serious person. I say again, he’s NOT A SERIOUS PERSON.

I went to a conference on AI recently. I’m a skeptic, and I really wasn’t there to drink the Flavor Aid. I was there to see what the vibe was from the developers themselves.

The verdict? These people don’t know what the fuck they’re doing. They have a lot of primitives, and they’re clumsily trying to jam them together in to some kind of product. The hype is real, and most of these people are just there to make a quick buck. Strike while the iron is hot, and so forth.

I’m some jerk in silicon valley who knows a bunch of jerks. I don’t value my reputation but I do value my income, and so I’ve done the very brave thing of starting a blog, and posting anonymously.

I have 16 years of professional experience, and about 27 years of just overall interest in technology. I do full stack work. I’m a polyglot. I’ve worked at startups, government contracting firms, big commercial power houses (several of the big 4), self driving car companies, and more recently AI infrastructure.
